Benchmarks, standards and the end of the world

At one point in life, I had my first large, corporate job. In retrospect, I can’t help but ask if I had done a better job of keeping a scorecard, mandating standards and benchmarks if things would have been different. Asking is okay, all things considered. Wondering is normal if I could have done better. A friend of mine several months ago told me that one half of the secret was being grateful. There are some parts of life that you can never be too grateful for:

* Family

* Friends

* Loved ones

I’m grateful for all of these people in my life. Thank you. If the world doesn’t end tomorrow, I’ll be blogging more in the new year :)
